The starting point for each kaleidakit is a scripture that will be related to each activity within the kit. After opening their kit, your child can put the scripture card for the month in the pouch of the door hanger made with their starter kit. Every night, take a few moments to read over the scripture with your child. When they've memorized it, place a gem on the treasure chest your child made with the starter kit. (A gem will come with each scripture.) A family devotional for each week of the month, written to go along with the scripture, will also be a part of each kaleidakit. You can incorporate the devotional into each week, in whatever way works for your family, and each activity your child completes will reinforce the message of your family devotional time. Character building activities are another part of each kaleidakit. Your child will be given everything they need to create a new game or activity. Think of this part of the kit as 'playing with a purpose'! Once they create their game, they can play, learn, and grow in Godly character. Each kaleidakit will provide everything needed for a science exploration or experiment based on that months scripture theme. Be sure to help your child record their observations in the Science Journal they received with their starter kit! Each kaleidakit comes packed with creative ideas, including everything you need to complete at least one craft based on the scripture theme for the month.
