To me, 'family' extends much further than only those I'm related to by blood. It also consists of those who I've formed a mutual bond with. It includes friends, neighbors, co-workers, teachers, pastors, or anyone else who's been there with and for me. Its' the ladies who stop by to give me words of encouragement and leave JW booklets every month. So you see, these are the ones who aren't there in just the good times, but more importantly through the bad. Those whose goals compliment what I'm working to achieve. Those who share my interests. Those whose moral compass is pointing in the same direction as mine. Those who have impacted my life in a positive way. Those who have been my 'cheerleader', encouraging me to keep going. That's who my family is. I love them all, and they mean the world to me, and I hope they know I'll always be there for them too!
